Horses For Sale

“Lexi” – has been shown English, Western, and been ridden in many natural horsemanship clinics. Her owner has been unable to ride for the past few years so Lexi has just been standing. She was a show horse for the first 7 years of her life. After that she was a family pleasure horse and was ridden on trail and in a variety of environments; Even a western dressage clinic where she scored the highest test score at the clinic. Lexi has had one foal. She was spayed last spring. She is healthy and sound and could be a wonderful partner for someone. Lexi is up to date on all vaccines, deworming and dental care. She has her feet trimmed every 6-7 weeks and goes barefoot. She is looking for her perfect person. Registered Arabian, 14.2 Hands $4500. Located in Sand Hollow, Idaho. I can help with shipping.

“Jasper” – This is a great horse and he’s ready for a new home. In my life I have known a few exceptional trail and family horses. Jasper is one of them. I’ve known him for 15 years. Lots of other folks know him well. None of us can remember the last time he spooked. Nobody can think of a time when he ever acted silly, fresh or nervous. His gait is country covering, he looks good doing it, his personality is the best, he’s been there and done that so there is never ever any funny business. He’s a one owner, well-loved horse, but, he’s bored because his rider has moved on and he’s not ready to just stand around. He’s fit and frisky, sound and healthy and ready to meet his new person. Jasper is looking for a trail rider who wants to explore beautiful places. A rider who wants to be in an occasional parade. Jasper can pack a flag or an elk at a gallop. Jasper would enjoy a rider who wants to win trail challenge competitions. He loves doing those! If there are grandkids that need rides on the best babysitter in the world that is a plus but not mandatory. If there are non-rider friends who need a safe and amazing horse to accompany his rider on a trail ride or a walk around the yard that is also a plus. Jasper volunteers at a therapy program where he helps mentally and physically challenged riders. The program wanted to hire him full-time, but he was busy working in the mountains. He would have missed crossing rivers and suspension bridges, seeing all the wildlife and amazing mountain views. Most important to Jasper is a rider who appreciates the smoothest ride you can have on a horse! If you think you are Jasper’s new person check out his pics and video. Jasper is a beautiful crossbred Tennessee Walker gelding, champagne paint color, 20 yrs old (age verified) about 15.1 hands, very stout and strong, great feet, sound on every corner. He cannot live full-time in a lush green pasture or he gets too fat. He’s an easy keeper and requires zero maintenance other than quality hay, a nice sun and weather shelter, and exercise. He likes other horses but he’s good alone. He has always had excellent care; he’s never taken a lame or stupid step while working on some of the steepest and most challenging trails in the lower 48. He is a horse for the entire family to enjoy and love. I can help with shipping. He is located in Salmon, Idaho and he is currently conducting interviews and taking applicants for rides. We hope he finds his lucky person soon.
